Need to Sell a Home in Brown County? We Pay Cash.
I’m Carter Crowley. My dad Bryan and I run CB Home Solutions — we’ve been buying homes across Wisconsin since 2015 and have been involved in over 300 transactions. Northeast Wisconsin is one of our active markets, and this page covers the communities surrounding the city of Green Bay where we regularly purchase properties — from the immediate suburbs like De Pere and Ashwaubenon all the way up to the Marinette-Peshtigo area along the Michigan border.
If you own a home in any of the communities on this page, we can make you a cash offer based on the property’s current condition. No repairs needed, no staging, no open houses. You set the closing date and leave behind whatever you don’t want.
I want to be direct: if your home is in solid shape and you have time, listing with an agent will usually net you more money. I hold an active Wisconsin real estate license (License #81027-94), and I’ll help you figure out which route actually makes sense for your situation. A cash sale is the right call when the property needs more work than you want to invest, when you’re managing a sale from a distance, or when you need the deal done on a predictable timeline.

Communities Where We Buy Homes
De Pere
De Pere is the largest community on this page with over 25,000 residents. The city sits along both sides of the Fox River just south of downtown and has a wide range of housing — from historic homes near downtown and St. Norbert College to newer construction on the west side. The older homes, particularly those built in the 1940s through 1960s near the river and along Main Ave, Reid St, and Broadway, are where we’re most active. These properties have the typical Fox Valley challenges: aging mechanicals, original plumbing, roofs at the end of their lifespan, and basements that take on water. We work with De Pere homeowners who are downsizing, settling estates, or dealing with properties that need more investment than a traditional listing would justify.
Howard
Howard has grown significantly over the past few decades, with about 20,000 residents. The housing stock ranges from 1970s ranches and split-levels in the older neighborhoods to newer development near Duck Creek. The homes we typically buy in Howard are the 30-40 year old properties where the original owner is ready to move on — kitchens and bathrooms haven’t been touched, the siding needs replacing, and the finished basement has had moisture issues for years. These homes are livable but dated, and the cost to bring them to market-ready condition can easily run $30,000–$50,000. For homeowners who don’t want to manage that renovation, a cash offer is the simpler path.
Ashwaubenon & Bellevue
Ashwaubenon is known for Lambeau Field and the commercial corridor along Oneida St, but the residential neighborhoods away from the commercial areas have housing stock that mirrors much of Brown County — mid-century ranches and colonials with deferred maintenance. Bellevue, east of the city along the bay shore, has a mix of older village homes and newer suburban construction. Waterfront-adjacent properties in Bellevue deal with the same moisture and exposure issues you see in lakeside communities elsewhere in the state. Both communities have homeowners who contact us because listing a home that needs significant work means a longer wait for the right buyer, especially outside the core metro market.
Allouez & Suamico
Allouez sits between the city and De Pere with about 14,000 residents and a well-established housing stock — many homes built in the 1950s and 1960s along streets near Webster Ave and Riverside Dr. These are the homes where long-term owners are facing the decision between investing in a major update or selling as-is. Suamico, north along Hwy 41, has newer development mixed with older rural properties. We see a range of situations here — from suburban homes needing standard updates to larger rural parcels with outbuildings and deferred maintenance that traditional buyers pass over.
Pulaski, Wrightstown, Denmark & Hobart
We buy throughout these smaller Brown and Outagamie County communities. Pulaski’s older village homes along Pulaski St share similar characteristics with the small-town housing stock across northeast Wisconsin — solid construction but decades of deferred maintenance. Wrightstown and Denmark are growing communities where we work with owners dealing with inherited properties, divorce situations, and homes that don’t meet modern lending standards. Hobart’s mix of residential and former agricultural properties sometimes includes homes with unique challenges that limit the buyer pool to cash purchasers.
We Also Buy North of Green Bay — Marinette, Oconto & Door County Area
Our reach extends well beyond the immediate Brown County suburbs. We actively buy properties in the communities along the bay and up toward the Michigan border:
Marinette & Peshtigo. We recently purchased an inherited property on Hall Ave in Marinette — the home had 52 cats and was a severe hoarding situation. The heirs lived out of state and needed it gone quickly. That’s the kind of situation where no traditional buyer is walking through the door, and the family needs someone who’ll take the property as-is without flinching. Peshtigo and the surrounding Marinette County communities have similar housing stock — older homes, long-term owners, and properties that have sat partially maintained for years.
Oconto & Oconto Falls. These communities along the Oconto River have affordable housing stock that tends to attract long-term owners. When those owners are ready to sell — whether due to health, estate settlement, or simple downsizing — the homes often need more work than the local market supports through a traditional listing. We’ve purchased properties in Oconto and come up for walkthroughs regularly.
Sturgeon Bay, Algoma & Kewaunee. The Door County and Kewaunee County communities have seasonal properties, older village homes, and waterfront cottages that can be challenging to sell traditionally — especially when they need work. If your property is anywhere in this stretch of northeast Wisconsin, we’ll make the drive to come see it.
