But how to sell a house fast in a slow market is a totally different scenario. What are your options when it comes to selling a house in a slow market? Option number one. You can always list it with a real estate agent. However, when the market is slow, when not as many houses are selling or they’re taking longer to sell, you can probably expect 60 to 90 days before an accepted offer, possibly even longer depending upon where it’s priced at. Right now the average days on market is somewhere around 45 to 60. So in a slower market, possibly double or triple that time on market, which can become very detrimental when it comes to selling your house fast. And obviously that is what you want to do if you’re watching this video. So that’s option number one. List it with a real estate agent here in the Appleton area if you’re looking to sell your house in a slow market.
